MICROSOFT DYNAMICS 365 FINANCE AND OPERATIONS SOLUTION ARCHITECT

saas nine is working with our client to find a Solution Architect for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. This is the senior technical and functional authority on their programmes, the person who owns the shape of the solution and answers for it.

What you will do

Own the end to end solution architecture across Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations engagements. Set the design direction in discovery, make the build versus configure calls, and design how the ERP integrates with everything around it. Lead the functional and technical consultants delivering to your design, review what they produce, and keep the solution coherent when scope moves, which it will. You will be in front of senior client stakeholders regularly, defending decisions and explaining trade-offs in language a business audience can act on. You will also be pulled into pre-sales and solution shaping, because the architecture thinking has to start before the contract is signed.

The stack

Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations across the finance and supply chain modules, with the surrounding Microsoft platform: Azure integration services, Data Lake and Synapse or Fabric for reporting, Power Platform for extensions, Azure DevOps and LCS for delivery. Familiarity with data migration approaches, environment strategy and performance tuning on large implementations.

What you will bring

Multiple full lifecycle Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations programmes as an architect, or as a senior lead ready to step up properly. Depth in either Finance or Supply Chain and enough breadth across the other to architect the whole thing. Strong integration and data thinking. The confidence to say no to a customisation that will cost them later, and the communication to make that land well rather than badly.
