saas nine is working with our client to find a Finance Lead for their Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations practice. This is a senior, client-facing position at Principal or Senior Lead Consultant level, and it exists because the finance workstream on their programmes needs someone who can own it outright rather than follow a design somebody else has set.

What you will do

Lead the finance workstream across Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations, from discovery through to go-live and into hypercare. Run design workshops with finance stakeholders and turn what comes out of them into a solution design that holds up. Configure the finance modules, guide the consultants working alongside you, and be the person the client's CFO and financial controller come to when something needs a decision. You will also shape how the practice approaches finance delivery, so the next programme starts from a better place than the last one.

The stack

Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, across General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting and Financial Reporting. Exposure to Project Operations, Tax, consolidations and multi-entity structures is useful. Around that sit Power BI, Azure DevOps, LCS and the usual delivery tooling.

What you will bring

Several full lifecycle Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations behind you, with the finance modules as your home ground. A finance background, whether that is a formal qualification, time in a finance function, or years of translating between accountants and ERP. The judgement to tell a client when the standard product is the right answer and the credibility to make that stick. Comfortable leading a workstream, mentoring consultants and presenting to senior stakeholders.
