Are you a seasoned Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer looking to work on a large-scale enterprise environment where you'll have the opportunity to influence architecture, integrations and the future of a modern Microsoft ecosystem?

We're partnering with a well-established Australian organisation that is continuing to invest heavily in its technology landscape. As part of this journey, we're seeking an experienced Senior D365 FinOps Developer to play a key role in enhancing, integrating and optimising their Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.

This is an opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects spanning ERP, integrations, data, automation and enterprise applications while collaborating with both internal stakeholders and leading Microsoft implementation partners.

The Opportunity

You'll become the technical expert within the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment, responsible for designing, developing and supporting enterprise-grade solutions that enable the business to continue its digital transformation journey.

Working closely with Functional Consultants, Project Managers, Business Analysts and external delivery partners, you'll develop scalable, high-quality solutions that support business growth while maintaining Microsoft best practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Develop new functionality using X++, extensions and Microsoft's recommended development framework.
• Design and build robust integrations between Dynamics 365 and external business applications.
• Develop and maintain APIs, web services and middleware integrations.
• Work with Azure integration technologies including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions and API Management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support system upgrades, releases and ongoing platform optimisation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across ERP and integrated systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical roadmaps.
• Ensure solutions follow Microsoft best practice, security and performance standards.

About You

You'll be a technically strong Dynamics developer who enjoys solving complex business problems through well-designed solutions.

You'll bring:

• Extensive experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong expertise in X++ development.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise integrations.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services and modern integration patterns.
• Exposure to Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps, Service Bus and Azure Functions.
• Strong SQL and data integration experience.
• Experience working within Agile project environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
• A proactive approach with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Highly Regarded

• Experience with Dual Write, Dataverse and Power Platform.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with CRM, warehouse management, manufacturing or third-party business applications.
• Azure certifications or Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
• Experience working within manufacturing, distribution or supply chain environments.
