saas nine is partnering with a leading Microsoft-focused organisation to identify a Cloud Solutions Architect with a deep background in PaaS and Data Platforms across the Microsoft ecosystem.

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just build solutions – but understands the why behind them.

The Opportunity

You’ll work across complex, multi-cloud and hybrid environments, helping customers modernise and optimise their data and application platforms using:

• Microsoft PaaS services

• Modern data platforms (Fabric, Azure Data Services)

• Products such as FabricIQ, Foundry, and AI / Copilot Studio

• Cross-platform integrations across Data, Apps, and AI

You’ll be embedded in a high-performing SI / Advisory / Consultancy / Microsoft partner environment, working with CTOs, Heads of Data, and Architecture teams to translate strategy into scalable, automated solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and delivering cloud-native architectures on Microsoft PaaS and data platforms

• Leading optimisation and automation initiatives (cost, performance, reliability, and maintainability)

• Working closely with Data, Engineering, and Product teams to shape end-to-end solutions

• Bringing a deep architectural lens to business problems – framing options, trade-offs, and impacts

• Guiding customers on AI, Copilot and cross-platform adoption in real-world scenarios

• Acting as a trusted advisor across the Microsoft technology stack, not just a single product

What You Bring

We’re interested in speaking with you if you have:

• Strong technical background (e.g. Engineer, Developer, Data Engineer, Integration or Platform background) and now operating as an Architect

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Data & PaaS platforms – Azure, Fabric, Synapse, etc.

• Exposure to products such as FabricIQ, Foundry, and AI/Copilot Studio (or similar cross-platform/AI tooling)

• A track record in optimisation, automation and “engineering the platform”, not just standing it up

• Experience working for a Systems Integrator, advisory firm, consultancy or Microsoft partner

• Certifications in architecture and data – for example, DAMA, TOGAF, and relevant Microsoft certifications (Data, Azure, Architecture)

• The ability to clearly articulate the problem, the options, and why you’ve recommended a particular solution
