Solutions Architect – D365 FinOps

Melbourne | Hybrid | 12-Month Day-Rate Contract

We’re partnering with a well-established Australian organisation embarking on a major transformation journey across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Integrations, Data, Automation & AI.

This is not a traditional support architecture role.

The organisation is looking for a senior Solutions Architect to conduct an initial health check and assessment across the current Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain landscape, integration environment, and operational processes — before helping shape and lead the future-state architecture focused on optimisation, automation, scalability, and AI enablement.

This is a highly strategic contract opportunity where you’ll help define how technology supports the wider business moving forward.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, technology leadership, and delivery teams to:

• Assess and review the current Dynamics 365 environment and integration landscape
• Identify technical debt, architectural gaps, and optimisation opportunities
• Design scalable future-state solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Data
• Drive integration strategy across Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, APIs, and connected enterprise platforms
• Help shape automation and AI capability across the broader Microsoft ecosystem
• Support platform governance, architecture direction, and transformation planning
• Contribute to a roadmap focused on operational efficiency and business modernisation

Key Experience Required

• Strong experience as a Solutions Architect within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain (FinOps/F&O)
• Experience across enterprise integrations and connected business systems
• Strong Azure capability across Logic Apps, APIs, Service Bus, Functions, and integration architecture
• Experience working across transformation, optimisation, or rebuild programs
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Exposure to Automation, AI, Fabric, Power Platform, or modern data ecosystems highly regarded
• Manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or operational industry experience highly advantageous
