We are looking for a hands-on Dynamics 365 Data Support Analyst to join a major Australian organisation and support a busy business and technology team working across Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps and CE.

This is not a traditional Data Analyst role focused on advanced analytics or data engineering.

Instead, you'll work closely with Business Analysts and project stakeholders, taking ownership of the detailed data, records, system administration and reporting support required across the Dynamics 365 environment.

If you're comfortable navigating D365, enjoy working with data and have strong attention to detail, this could be an excellent contract opportunity.

The Role

Working alongside the BA and wider project team, you will assist with a range of data and system activities, including:

  • Entering, maintaining and updating records within Dynamics 365
  • Supporting data administration across D365 FinOps and CE
  • Reviewing and validating data for accuracy and completeness
  • Data cleansing, reconciliation and quality checking
  • Extracting and manipulating data using Excel
  • Supporting reporting requirements and existing reports
  • Assisting Business Analysts with high-volume data and administrative activities
  • Investigating discrepancies and helping identify where information sits within D365
  • Supporting data preparation and migration activities where required
  • Assisting with UAT, system testing and data validation
  • Working with business users to resolve day-to-day data and system queries

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in someone who has previously worked within a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment and understands how to navigate the platform.

You could currently be working as a:

  • Dynamics 365 Support Analyst
  • ERP / Application Support Analyst
  • Junior D365 Functional Analyst
  • Systems Administrator
  • Data Coordinator
  • Reporting Coordinator
  • D365 Project Support Analyst
  • Dynamics 365 Super User

You don't need to be a senior Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant.

We're looking for someone who is hands-on, organised and comfortable working at the detailed data level.

Ideally, You'll Bring

  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Exposure to D365 FinOps and/or Dynamics 365 CE
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience working with large volumes of business data
  • Data cleansing, validation or reconciliation experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence navigating enterprise systems and understanding how records and data relate to business processes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with Business Analysts and business stakeholders

Experience with Power BI or reporting would be highly regarded, particularly if you've previously extracted D365 data or worked with existing dashboards and reports.

Exposure to UAT, ERP implementations, data migration or major transformation projects would also be advantageous.

Why Consider This Role?

This is a great opportunity for someone who has gained exposure to Dynamics 365 and wants to continue building their experience within a large enterprise environment.

It could be particularly well suited to someone who has worked as a D365 super-user, application support specialist or junior functional resource during a Dynamics implementation and enjoys working at the intersection of systems, data and business operations.

If you know your way around Dynamics 365, you're strong with data and Excel, and you're happy getting into the detail, we'd like to hear from you.
