Azure Data Engineer – Global Industrial Organisation | Fabric Journey | Sydney (Hybrid)

We are partnering with a global industrial solutions organisation entering a significant transformation phase.

Following recent acquisition activity and continued international expansion, the business is investing heavily in its Microsoft Data & ERP ecosystem — with a clear roadmap toward Microsoft Fabric, optimisation, and automation.

This is not a maintenance role.

This is a build-phase opportunity.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer to join a globally connected data function supporting a Microsoft environment that includes:

• Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse – Fabric exposure highly regarded)

• Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FinOps)

• Enterprise integrations across global business units

• A developing Fabric roadmap

The organisation is early in its Fabric journey, so you will influence architecture, integration strategy, and the long-term direction of its data platform.

As the business integrates newly acquired entities, scalable and well-governed data becomes critical to operational optimisation.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Azure data engineering experience

• Experience working in Microsoft-centric enterprise environments

• Exposure to D365 FinOps data structures (advantageous)

• Integration and transformation expertise

• Strong communicator comfortable working across global teams

• Puzzle-oriented and outcome-driven mindset

Nice to have: Spanish language capability to support global collaboration.
