Specialising in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the candidate combines functional business analysis with hands-on AL development to deliver ERP implementation and enhancement work for Australian organisations. Their expertise spans finance, operations, manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, sales and supply chain processes. Experience across a Manufacturing Company, another Manufacturing Company and a Technology Company has developed a strong understanding of operational requirements and their translation into practical system solutions. They bring particular depth in legacy ERP replacement, manufacturing process analysis, production-order migration and work-in-progress dependencies. Strong analytical skills and stakeholder engagement underpin their approach to aligning Business Central capabilities with business priorities.
Their delivery capabilities extend from requirements discovery and solution design through customisation, integration, reporting, testing and deployment readiness. They design and develop AL extensions and integrate Business Central with external applications using APIs and web services. At a Manufacturing Company, they lead functional consulting for a wiring-harness manufacturing implementation, analyse active production migration scenarios and facilitate multi-round UAT. At a Manufacturing Company and a Technology Company, they developed ERP enhancements, custom reports, data extracts and integration solutions supporting connected operations and business decision-making. Their reporting and analytical toolkit includes Power BI, Tableau and Microsoft Excel, alongside familiarity with KQL and telemetry management. Agile delivery practices, Jira, Confluence, AL-Go for GitHub and draw.io support structured collaboration, development and documentation.
A collaborative delivery approach enables them to work effectively with production, warehouse, finance, management and technical teams. They lead design discussions, explain solution dependencies and produce executive-ready material supporting stakeholder decisions. End-user manuals, training resources and adoption support help operational teams transition to new processes. Their ability to move between functional analysis, technical development and user support is valuable across implementation and enhancement assignments. Supported by postgraduate business information systems education and an undergraduate computer science qualification, they offer a balanced combination of business understanding and technical capability. They bring employers a practical Business Central professional capable of strengthening ERP functionality, improving process alignment and supporting confident implementation readiness.
