Technical Business Analyst – D365 & Power BI

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Business Analyst to join a major transformation initiative focused on reporting, analytics, and business process improvement.

We are seeking a consultant who combines strong D365 FinOps functional knowledge with reporting and Power BI expertise, capable of engaging closely with both business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document reporting and analytics requirements across the business
• Work closely with stakeholders to improve visibility, KPI reporting, and operational insights
• Bridge the gap between business users, ERP teams, and data/reporting teams
• Support Power BI reporting initiatives aligned to D365 FinOps data structures
• Assist with process analysis and reporting optimisation
• Participate in workshops, stakeholder engagement, and solution discussions
• Support testing, validation, and delivery of reporting solutions

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations functional experience
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst within ERP transformation programs
• Strong understanding of reporting, analytics, and Power BI
• Experience working with Finance and/or Supply Chain modules
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate into reporting outcomes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working within enterprise Microsoft environments
